TU München: INI.TUM

The goal of the TU Munich’s branch in Ingolstadt is the creation of a regional centre of competence by means of a close cooperation with AUDI AG. At this centre of competence science and practical experience accompany each other closely. The TU Munich’s Ingolstadt Institute’s focus is the treatment of modern research themes concerning automotive engineering. Thereby young engineers gain qualifications which they are going to use in their prospective professional field of automotive engineering. First research activities are being undertaken in regard to driving analyses and to the manufacturing of vehicles. The projects concentrate on the analysis of driver, vehicle and driving surroundings as well as mechatronics of production and “Umformsimulation”.
