Cooperations with over 200 foreign academic institutions exist at the Technischen Universität Berlin, through which students can study abroad. The participation in an exchange program is usually combined with a scholarship and tuition exemption abroad. The length of the stay is between three and twelve months, depending on the program.
Within the frame of ERASMUS exchange programs, there are a number of opportunities to study at a partner university abroad. The TU Berlin manages partnerships to academic institutions in almost all European countries.
There is a detailed overview for all courses of study at TU Berlin with their corresponding partner universities on the webpage of the Akademisches Auslandsamt (AAA) [german only] - International Students Office - of TU Berlin.
The academic exchange office provides on its site also a list of all inner-European exchange programmes [german only].
Next to partner universities in Europe, numerous cooperations also exist between the TU Berlin and universities in the USA, Canada, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand.
