Supporting Services

TU Darmstadt offers a variety of supporting services for students from abroad. The International Office provides an overview of these services.

The student services (Studentenwerk) offers a special tutorial programnme for newly arrived students. The tutors support recently arrived students from abroad and help them get comfortable in their new surrounding and to settle into students' daily life. At every  semester we offer a different program of excursions, partys and cultural events, open to all students. 

 
The tutors support new students at:

• living in Student Hostels
• orientation in Darmstadt
• dealing with administrative matters
• accompany to authorities
• free time activities
• problems with your room mates
• establishing contacts to other students
