TUMI Program

TUMI (for "TUM international") is a student initiative supported by the Internationale Zentrum of the TU München. The purpose is a better support for guest students from abroad. This student initiative organizes, among other things, a Stammtisch (a regular meeting of people with similar interests) twice a month and works closely together with the AEGEE-München.

The Stammtisch happens every first and third Monday of the month starting at 8pm in the basement bar of the KHG-TU, Karlstraße 32 (U2 Königsplatz). You can get to know the approximately 150 students that come to the Stammtisch from all countries of the world.

AEGEE in general

AEGEE (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l'Europe), is a forum of European students with approximately 17,000 members in over 250 local groups. AEGEE was founded in 1985 in Paris. AEGEE is a non-profit and apolitical organization that tries to make the European idea a reality. AEGEE is not bound to any department; every student can join AEGEE.

The goal of the organization is to bring together students from all possible corners of Europe and different subjects of study, discuss all possible topics with each other, and just have a lot of fun. Through various events of the local groups, AEGEE practically supports European integration and cultural exchange. So develop friendships and personal contacts over country boarders.

International AEGEE Stammtisch (München)

Every Tuesday at 9pm (except for the first Tuesday of the month) there is the international AEGEE Stammtisch. The meeting point is the Uni Lounge at Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1. There, there is the opportunity to meet many nice people from all over Europe.

Film evening in the AEGEE office (München)

On the first Tuesday of the month there is, instead of the Stammtisch, an exciting film evening in the AEGEE office. Everyone is invited to take a look; the film presentation is free!
