Publications
The German academic grade "Diplom-Ingenieur" celebrated its 111th anniversary on October 11, 2010. To mark this occasion, TU9 published a book to congratulate the "Dipl.-Ing." as the title is affectionaly abbreviated.
The publication contains among others a plea by the president of TU9, Professor Ernst M. Schmachtenberg, to keep the trade mark "Dipl.-Ing.", an essay by the renowned journalist Wolf Schneider, a survey among celebrities as well as portraits of important engineers in past and present.
The book can be downloaded as a PDF-file (5 MB, Germany only).
The TU9 magazine contains general information on the TU9 alliance, on selected study programmes and on high-end research carried out at TU9 universities.
