Student Services

The Studentenwerk Stuttgart (SWS) sees it as its responsibility to support student life in general and to support and advise students in financial, social and cultural aspects in particular.

Additionally, the SWS manages 4 dining halls and 10 cafeterias, 25 residence halls with over 5,020 spots, 5 day care centers, a kindergarten and 2 crawling rooms.

The offerings are organized in the following service areas:

• Social advising
• BAföG – federal financial aid
