The TU9 Universities put great emphasis on internationality. They maintain cooperation agreements with a variety of renowned universities and research institutions all over the world. These agreements do not only focus on international research projects but also on the exchange of students and scientific staff.
Within this framework we also cooperate closely with Korean institutions: The TU9 Universites maintain about 60 cooperation agreements with Korean universities. In 2014, TU9 participates in the Joint Korean-German Conference on Future and Technology which takes place on October 2 in Seoul. In different talks, TU9 Rectors and Presidents discuss about the role of German Institutes of Technology as centres of innovation.
The Joint Korean-German Conference on Future and Technology is jointly organized by the German Embassy, the Alumni Network Germany Korea (ADeKo), the Office of Strategic R&D Planning at MOTIE, the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI) and the Korea Institute of Science & Technology Evaluation (KISTEP).
