TU9-BIT Summer School 2016

Beijing, China, August 1 – 28

The TU9 Alliance offers its eighth four-week summer school in collaboration with the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). From August 1 to August 28, 2016, students from TU9 Universities are at the BIT to learn Chinese and prepare for an internship or study abroad in China.

To maximize the unique language learning opportunity in Beijing, each participant is assigned a language partner. In addition to the Chinese language, students also learn about cultural highlights of the region during the weekends. Classes also include regional studies and intercultural communication.

The participants will be accommodated in the "International Students Center" directly on the BIT campus for the duration of the Summer School. This gives them an authentic insight into life and studies in China. By involving Chinese students in the program, the TU9 students come into contact with locals of the same age and can expand their international network.

Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) is a public, co-educational, national university under the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It receives one of the largest annual research budgets among universities in China. BIT offers a wide range of English language programs for international students.
